It’s a saying that a parent can take care of five children, but five children can not take care of one parent. That is so true with my family. My mother who lives alone after my father’s passing has been a handful for me and my four siblings. She is still going strong at age of 81 and we feel she has at least another good 20 years to go. You might think, well that’s a good thing, and it is. But when she goes to her bingo night and comes home late and doesn’t answer her phone call, it could be a problem. Worrying about our mother’s well being and safety is something that all her five children talk about during the day. Have you heard from mom? Did she tell you where she is going? When was the last time, you heard from her? Should we have the neighbors go check on her? We figured it was about time, to hire someone full time as a live in to watch over her. Explaining our intentions to mom was no easy task. You see she is very proud and does not feel or act her age. So when we first introduced Cassey, a caregiver, we found at ElberlyCaretaker.com to mom, it wasn’t like any other interview. Cassey is in her early 60s. Very vibrant and active lady. She is divorced and welcomed a live in position. Cassey and mom hit it off, the day they met. I don’t know if it was their common interest in bingo and other activities or the fact that mom feels she is Cassey’s age and could relate to her. What ever it was, they became great friends. Except, Cassey now has her eyes on mom and we feel at ease knowing that their is someone with her in case, she falls or when she does not return our phone calls. That piece of mind, is worth everything to five of us, and now with Cassey’s help, we feel six of us can take care of mom.

Caregiver Family For Hire
Both me and my wife are originally from Philippines. We have both lived and worked in the States for some time. Our children are grown and now attending college. So we have been empty nesters for some years now. My wife had worked in a retirement facilities for some years, and I have worked in and out jobs to provide for my family. So when we came across ElderlyCaretaker.com website, we figured we post both of ourselves as a husband and wife that could provide for an elderly or elderly couple. Soon, we started getting email inquires and soon enough did a Skype interview with an out of State family. This elderly husband and wife did not want to go to retirement house as they lived in a huge house and wanted to living the remaining years of their life together in that house. My wife and I were open to relocating and took the offer. It’s been a blessing, we no longer have to pay for rent as we are now a live in caregivers. I handle the grocery shopping, driving, keep the house in order. My handyman experience has allowed me to do chores to keep me busy around the house. My wife, cooks and cleans for the couple. They have become a family to us. They invited our children for the Thanksgiving dinner to their house. This has worked out in every sense. I get to have a nice paying job, see my wife every day, and no longer have to worry about making the rent at the end of the month. Thanks for providing such opportunity to us.
